The Radha Krupa Kataksh Stotram, also lovingly called Sri Sri Radha-Kripa-Kataksha Stava Raja (the King of Prayers for Radha Rani’s merciful glance), comes from the ancient and sacred Ūrdhvāmnāya Tantra. In this holy scripture, Bhagawan Shiva himself recites these beautiful verses to Devi Parvati, opening his heart and pleading for the compassionate sidelong glance of Shri Radha. This stotram is deeply cherished in Vrindavan and among all Vaishnavas. It is like a sweet prayer that melts the heart, awakens pure love for Bhagawan Krishna, and invites the devotee into the eternal, joyful pastimes of Vraja. Reciting it with faith brings peace, fulfills pure desires, destroys karma, and grants the highest blessing — entry into the divine circle of Radha Rani and Bhagawan Krishna’s loving devotees.
Now, let us enter this divine prayer, verse by verse.
