Practicing for their turn in front of the judges. Catching a large fiesta of traditional dance in the Plaza de Armas. Each group wore widely varied and bright costumes and paraded and practiced around the square before dancing officially for a panel of judges in front of the cathedral. I loved all the colours and exuberance they displayed and especially that it wasn't at all done for tourist show (although they were happy to show off their costumes for photos).
